A House for Mr Biswas is the tragicomic tale of a lifetime struggle Biswas. It deals with biography V.S. Naipaul’s family constructed around his father’s failures and decisions. has its source from father influencing him deeply in literary career. The question general here how shows itself answer lies stance Naipaul. In most works, he undermines image by referring to father. However, striking point that no matter badly Naipaul represents fathers works owes much order show gratitude towards father, revisits story early writing He uses personal history as material, especially first books.
